Weight loss convert to maintenance target

I've surprised myself managing to lose 18lbs out of a target 36lbs in my first 6 weeks of my own plan. I've done this with calories timing and control, controlled hydration (I wasn't hydrated before and now use water to enable metabolism to kick in) and a small amount of light cardio again to stimulate metabolism. I'm now at a weight where a little impact will not hurt and its back into the gym as of today to start on the muscle build. Trouble is I like watching the pounds drop off, how do people motivate to still get a buzz whilst taking in nutrients to build muscle and therefore as I know has happened to me in the past see weight stabilize despite working out heavily? Still want to get to 10% bodyfat from current 24% I guess that's a way watch that number rather than the lbs? I guess body pics might do it to before 215lbs 24% after target 200lbs 10%
