    Cathe Friedrich, checkout cathe.com.

Heard many good things about how mean the workouts are.

I started out with Muscle Max. It was recommended by a few of my MFPals as a good one to start with.

I also have Slow & Heavy and the Gym Style 3-DVD set. I just started with Gym Style this morning.

I love Cathe!!!! And yes her workouts are mean!!! lol I started out with muscle max. I have quite a few of her dvd's You can friend me if you like and most of my friends are cathlettes's also. If you are looking for a lower price on most of her stuff check out em2wl.com/shop and they have the majority of her stuff there for cheaper than the website. But I would advise you to preview the workouts on her site cathe.com first to make sure its the workout for you and to find out what equipment you need for that workout. But most people start with muscle max but you can start where ever you like. good luck and if you need anything feel free to ask!!

    Thank you so much.

I was thinking more in the lines of buying AfterBurn and Athletic Training from her LIS. What do you think of those?

Muscle Max looks cool as well. Do you really need a step for this one or can I modify?

Afterburn and Althletic training are on my wishlist lol. And I hear that the "LIS" is not as "LI" as you think lol As for Muscle max you can modify by using a stability ball or lying on the floor for some of the moves but for the leg press you need a step but you can always fast forward that part. I didnt get a step until I was into muscle max about 3 weeks. I still dont have the big step because I bought a high step thinking it was the regular club step.

Afterburn and althletic training are some really good ones. Did you check the site to see if you can get it cheaper? This journey can get expensive so finding better deals on the stuff you need is always a plus.

I did check out the site. Its almost the same price. But I did find some good deals in ebay.

I would also want to check out local goodwill stores and halfprice bookstore.

You are right , this will get expensive in the long run. Especially the Cathe ones.

I havent paid more than $20 for any of my Cathe dvd's and thats including shipping. I have a wishlist and then I stalk cathe.com for the deal of the day and em2wl.com and amazon. I just bought her super sets push/pull which is listed for I think $39.99 for $9.99 I also got slow and heavy for $12. Good luck with everything Im interested to see how you like her. Other than my supreme 90 dvd's cathe is all I use. Ive tried Jillian but I dont like her. I want my trainer to workout die in the workout wiht me lol

I've never heard of Cathe but I use the "Firm" weight training and leg strengthening and it is good... I'm going to have to check out Cathe DVD's.
