Exercise Calories Minus BMR

I've read a few people mention that when entering your exercise calories you should subtract the amount of calories you would have burnt had you been doing absolutely nothing, do you all do this??
I never did (hadn't even thought about it) but when I first saw it discussed a few weeks ago I didn't really think anything of it but the more often I'm seeing it the more I'm thinking that perhaps I should have been doing it all along.
So far today I have burned 315 calories doing 67 minutes exercise, my BMR is 1120 so 0.77 cal's per minute. Should I subtract 52 calories off of my total or does no one really bother?
Thoughts please.
