Kind of. Warm up needs to be dynamic-like jump jacks, inchworms, squats, hip mobilization, not a static stretch. And cool down is just stretching. You can use foam roll for warm up and cool down too.0

My trainer has me walk the treadmill or bike to warm up, we do alot of stretching after my workout, then she has me do more walking or biking afterwards.0

I use stretching as both warm up and cool down...but my "warm up" is more active motion type stuff kind like pi-yo (pilates/yoga) or barre exercise, mostly to get my heart rate out of resting range...then I do cardio and strength, then I cool down with a slower paced stretching sequence to get my HR back down to rest (or close). But, I think it really comes down to whatever works for you....I know some people (competitive athletes even) who just jump on a tread mill and are at full speed in minutes.0
