Heavy Lifting with a Bowflex? Tips?

Some of the movements feel a little, well, clumsy. Any tips for a really good, full set of exercises on a bowflex? Among the ones that feel strange, triceps feel off and the recommended abs exercise is a little weird as well.
What are the best exercises to do that really work- muscle wise and ergonomically?
