Anybody willing to take the time to look at my diary and give advise. I've been sticking with it, have plateaud and am stuck. I havent' lost hardly any in last 2 months. Was losing steadily but it has almost stopped. I am 10lbs shy of goal weight. Would be even willing to make it 5lbs but I'm stuck. Thank you

Congrats on what you have lost so far! That is great! I took a look at your diary but only went back for about a week. A couple of things I noticed:
peanut butter - I absolutely love love love PB but I found that for me, at least, if I eat it often I tend to not lose anything. Even if I acount for the calories and all and am within my guidelines. Just a thought.
Water - do you not track it or are you not drinking any? Also, try only counting water as water. I know there are a lot of things that people count as water, but I have found that I do best drinking about 10-12 glasses of water (not tea, not flavored water...) every day.
There is a lot of processed food and not a lot of veggies.
I find that if I have protein in the mornings, it helps me get through the day much better. I see you're trying to get the protein from the PB, but maybe try something else. Do you like Greek yogurt? It has a lot of protein compared to regular yogurt. I also use plain Greek yogurt in place of sour cream.
I know two months with no loss is frustrating. It looks like its time to shake things up a bit. Your body tends to get used to what you're giving it after awhile and learns to maintain on what it is given.
Concentrate on your macros: fiber, protein, water.
When I was on WW and would hit a plateau, I would try the Wendie Plan (google it and you'll find more info) Basically, for a week or two, just to shake things up, you still eat your weekly alotted calories, but go high for a couple of days and low for a couple of days. It worked for some to help break the plateau, but its all individual.
Good luck and hang in there!0 -
a few things i would suggest....
up your cal to losing 0.5lb per week, as you are close to goal.
eat more protein - aim for 100g per day
make sure you get your 5 portions of fruit and veg per day
mix up your exercise routine, try something new if you have had the same routine for a while, and up your strength training.0 -
Thank you. yes I do drink lots of water, I just don't track it. I also eat an egg every day in the morning for protein as well as the peanut butter. I have worked at liking Greek yogurt, but just can't tolerate it. Am now eating regular.
I will work on your suggestions. Thank you!!.0 -
I also have been bad about not tracking my vegetables. I eat broccoli most nights for dinner, tomatoes for lunch. I will do better with that , Salads frequently. I haven't logged them cause they don't count much towards calories.0
