Spicy Chinese Noodle confusion

I bought one of those instant ramen noodle things (yes, I know, shut up). However, the nutritional label is very confusing. The container lists nutritional information for "per 100gr" and "prepared meal." The container is 70 grams, yet the "prepared meal" listing contains several times more of every nutrient than the "per 100gr" listing. I know that the flavor packets add a ton of junk, but I have a hard time believing that a tablespoon of spices would add 230 calories.
What's going on?

I was always under the impression they were low fat like any other pasta but then I looked at the label and it said like 12g of fat?!0

At a guess, that's per 100g as prepared (i.e. including the weight of the water you added!) so although you only have 70g in the packet I'm guessing once cooked there's way over 100g in total on your plate.0

Think you can get a photo / screenshot of the label on here?
Have you tried actually weighing the food (without container)? How much does it weigh?
The best option would probably be: Don't eat that cr*p ;-)0 -
Don't you think that at times a company will just guess on the nutritional values? They probably do not know this information. I am not going to tell you what to eat or not. I eat processed foods just about every day for lunch.0

The fat is in that little pouch, the powder is more then just herbs as far as I know, it's all concentrated stuff.
Have you tried looking it up here in the data base? The info on the pot does sound confusing :frown: Else just log it as per "prepared meal" and consider it a lesson learned.0 -
No camera here, but here's what the label looks like basically:
Per Dish Per 100gr
Energy 304 73.3
Proteins 5.9 1.4
Carbohydrate 39.5 9.5
Total Fats 13.3 3.3
Sodium 1376 332
Cholesterol 0 0
Noodle ingredients are wheat flour, vegetable oil, salt. Dried vegetables are corn, carrot, onion. Spice packet contains salt, sugar, MSG, herbs and spices, yeast extract, dried onion.
I didn't actually weigh the food, but I based on feel, 70 g would be accurate.0 -

What brand is it?
If it's listed on their website, somebody might be able to help if you post a link.0
