I work on the 3rd story of my office blocks. The building is high enough to have an escallator to the top or a flight of stairs. Since September ive been taking the stairs each and every time (between 5 and 15 times a day!). Lately ive started to be able to run up all of them and control my breathing at the top which ive been secretly proud of.

Today after a big team meeting on the bottom floor my colleagues were flocking to the escalator and i was going towards the stairs and i overheard one of my colleagues say 'watch the fitness freak sprint up those!'

I cant believe they called me a fitness freak!!!!! i didnt let them know i heard but i sprinted up extra fast today and feel great for it. This is on top of my normal exercise and i dont log it as exercise, its just a mini personal challenge to remind me that i'm working hard for something.

Keep doing what you're doing everyone!

Nice job, Fitness Freak!! A title well-earned!! CONGRATS TO YOU!!!

I have been donned the "weight-loss Queen" at work, even though I have not shed a pound in almost 8 weeks...LOL...I have lost 60 lbs since February 1, and people are still commenting every day! it is a hooot....I really have to get back at my losing, but I feel amazing and exercise daily. I have a mini-flight of stairs compared to yours (17 steps) and I take these every chance I get!

Last month, I arranged our staff meeting to take place offsite at my gym :) and had my co-workers sign a fitness pledge that gave them hints as to how they might make healthy choices each day...I think it was well received. I awarded prizes for 4 staff of waterbottles from my gym (donated) and $5 Subway cards. Just a way to help them make good choices...hope some of them join the gym. Currently out of 40, there are 4 of us that go there!

Way to go, YOU! Keep up the great work and keep taking those stairs!!

You go! That is awesome!!! :)

That is too bad that all your coworkers have to be jealous like that!!! People can be so stupid.
Because yeah, getting healthy and in shape is a bad thing. \end sarcasm
