Weight going, measurements staying! Help!

How is it that I have lost 35 pounds and NOT any inches?
I measure myself once a week on Mondays and nothing. Oh, let me correct that. 1 inch off my boobs! Which of course is NOT where I wanted the loss.
So many times when I've been frustrated when my weight loss stalls I'm told to not let weight dictate my success, but to let measurements do the talking.
Well, measurements are silent!
Please help me understand how someone loses weight but not inches?

i just asked this same question last week...I got a few good ideas~where are you measuring? I was told 13 places need to be measured for accuracy, and I was doing 4!!0

it might do you good to get a body fat/muscle analyasis to see what your body is made up from. it'll give you a better idea of changes in the amount of bodyfat you have
also, you may have been loing visceral fat - google it - it's the fat that surrounds our major organs, it's really bad for you, and you could be losing it without losing inches.
where have you been measuing? i measure arms, forearms, neck, bust, waist, hips, butt, thighs and knees
well done on losing 35lbs!0 -

So for arm are you just finding the widest part of the bicep?0 -
it could be
hormones, cortisol, stress, etc; swelling while muscles are healing, youve developed a temporary immunity to cardio due to over-efficiency, your monthly cycle, some over the top meal in the last three days, soda or beer bloat, too much sodium, lots of stuff - how long have you been dropping weight without a measuarement change?0 -
