Mine was yesterday. We went to a farm, all the pumpkins were either smashed, deformed, or rotting. On top of that, there were attack bees. Had to run like hell. It was cold. Terrible. :explode:

I sat in the hay with my best friend, my brother, we were pals since the vine. It was a regular day, we just moved to a new place and I really liked it. Lots of new faces to talk to, it was great.

Suddenly, someone came over and picked up my friend, then me. We were placed in this brown.. flimsy room. very small, and taken somewhere. I blacked out from my panic attack then awoke in this large area. I didn't know where I was at all. I looked around the room to find my friend.

I yelled in horror as the top of his head was removed, and his insides were on a pile next to him. He was being scraped clean from the inside. When my eyes adjusted, I saw the same kind of person that took care of me, now doing that to my friend. It wasn't the same person, but they looked similar. He started carving into the flesh, making a strange face out of his own. I started going weak when I saw chunks of his flesh fall inside the empty space inside.

I wasnt going to let it happen to me.

I saw that I was high enough from the floor. Several feet really. I looked back at my friend, who's cold dead eyes were being carved out into triangles. I didnt want that for me. I looked back towards the floor, closed my eyes, and rolled. As I fell, I thought of the vine, the smells of the dirt and the water, the feeling of strength I got from it, the family and friends I had there. I thought of Maria... I never told her how I felt.

In my last few moments, I smiled at the quickly rushing ground. For now I was free. No knife could touch me.

And as my body spread around me and my skin smashed, I felt no pain, only relief.

no matter how bad your experience with pumpkins, it's still not as bad as the one Ichibod Crane had.

Yesterday, most if it was fun. Then we got on the tractor wagon to go to the "pumpkin patch." Well, for $8 a pumpkin you could walk into a freshly mowed grassy field and pick up a pumpkin that they purchased from Lord knows where with no stem. We came home pumpkinless, I can do better at WalMart.
