Workout Ideas

I am looking for a cheap way to workout other than walking. I am almost 300 pounds so nothing too intense yet until I get some weight off. I also have bad knees so nothing too high impact. Any suggestions would be great!

    Zumba
    Wii Fit/XBox Kinect
    Biggest Loser DVDs - well any exercise dvds because you can modify them to your abilities
    Body Weight exercises (push ups, squats, lunges, etc)

    I really love my Wii Fit. There are a lot of different activites so you can chose your own level, and it's just fun!
    Swimming is good because it's low impact.

    Google Nerd Fitness and try the body weight circuit training. It really was a life saver for me. It helped me have better balance because my core was getting stronger. No equipement. Make a list of the exercises and then do them as best you can. He even modifies them so that beginners can do them. Don't worry about how many. Concentrate on doing them with good form and adding to your best number of reps. Good luck and I hope you find something that you love to do, because that is the most important thing.     I'm getting into wii fit. I just got wii fit plus and it's a lot of fun, which keeps me coming back for more. Plus, if you have kids, they can play too. Walking is great too.
