Attacking Food Addiction

Hi,
Well, let me first say that I was a previous member a couple of years ago, but I gave up and quit because I was not seeing results. I thought I couldn't lose weight and that there was something wrong with me. Well, there was, and there is. The only problem is I didn't believe it. I am addicted to food! There I said it to all of you willing to read. So my new goal on MFP is to use it as a tool to kick my food addiction in the butt. I know it is something that will be with me rest of my life. With my new acceptance and knowledge I hope to find other people on here who are battling food addiction and winning and finding the keys and tricks to beating my addiction! If that is you, please message me. I would love to hear your advice!!!
Thanks for reading!

  • that is exactly my problem and I am using MFP to tackle it. I am a food addict/compulsive eater... it certainly hits my pleasure receptors hard. On top of it, I have no satiety "off" switch, it takes my gut 30 minutes to tell my brain that it is full! :-)

My daughter is like my wife.... lucky her, my son has inherited this from me unfortunately.

I could exercise all I want but will not lose weight unless I cut intake... MFP is helping so far.

good luck! feel free to add me
