Getting Married in 6 mos! 30 yo active F w/a tricky knee

Hey All! Thanks for clicking on my post! I am recently engaged and spent all of September and most of October celebrating my bday and getting engaged! ( My father happen to pass away during this time as well ! ) So I fell off track! I joined MFP 3 months after a major knee surgery In April and managed to lose about 20lbs of that sedetary weight by September!


So here I am! wanting to lose another 15-20lbs and tone up! and be mindful of what I eat during the next few months and beyond !

any ladies want to join me and be buddies :) I will be hitting the gym about 5x a week and check MFP a few times a day.

I am 5'9 and guessing between 156-160 lbs (I dont want to weigh myself just yet!)
Even tho my knee is on the mend i still bike hard and walk uphill for the cardio and will be hitting weights too :)

  • Congratulations on your engagement! I actually am engaged too and trying to lose weight for the big day... I have lost a little so far but still have about 12 pounds to go. I got engaged January 14, 2012 and the wedding is April 6, 2013. When is your date? Any tips for me that have worked for you? I don't get a chance to work out that often so it's pretty hard for me but I'm trying to focus on eating right and excersize when I can.

    Hey! Well we got engaged early September and set the date for May 03 2013!

    so it is soon!

    Tips? make working out a priority and when you are there give it all you got!
    and track everything you eat :)
