Adventure Racing

Trail running. Orienteering. Paddling. Mountain Biking. Rappelling. Combine all of them and you have "Adventure Racing."

This sport is growing like wildfire and I'm curious about whether any other MFPers are into it already or think they might be interested in trying out the sport in 2013.

If there's enough interest, I'd like to start a group that not only tracks their diet and weight loss, but also their Adventure Race training goals. For example, to prepare for the 2013 AR season, we might have goals for a certain number of miles run, biked, or paddled. It's definitely an endurance sport and one you have to work your way up to if you're not already super-fit.
