Try this. Follow the instructions. I've lost 4lb in 20+ days after I sorted out my cal intake following this0 -
If you are exclusively breast feeding you are burning an extra 500 calories a day. Take how much you want to lose a week from the above poster and add 500 calories a day. Good luck!0

I would start with figuring out how many calories you are eating now. Then I would SLOWLY decrease that, and watch the changes in Milk. A sudden or drastic reduction in calories or even balance of protein/carb/fat can radicially change your milk production.... not something you want to do, esp with an 8 week old. I'm not sure if this is your first nursling, but you will still have a few increases in milk production (probably) and you don't want to mess around with that.
If you put all that information into this web site, it will tell you how many calories you would need. You can make that your ultimate goal, but just step down to it slowly, as I said. Also, remember that is for a non nursing mother. Sites say you consume about 300 - 500 calories in producing milk, which would mean you want to eat 300 - 500 more. For me that seemed high. It was a very delicate balance between loosing wieght and producing milk. I personally choose to err on the side of milk production because I felt that at that point, getting good milk to that baby is priority.0 -
If you need any help figuring it out from the link just PM me, I'm more than happy to help as it can be a tad bit confusing even though Dan has put step by step instructions lol xx0
