Good Afternoon everyone and Hello!
I am a 5 year old mother of 4 children. 3 under 5. I need to get about 75 pounds off my frame to be healthy and I intend to do it this time. I have tried Weight Watchers, Atkins, and numerous other diets that I have not been able to stuck with.
My parents are/were both overweight my entire life. I lost my mother 5 years ago to breast cancer and my father is an insulin dependent Diabetic. I see what being overweight has done to them, and what it has done to me. My parents never taught me to eat properly, they taught me that food is comfort. This is something that needs to stop! and it needs to STOP NOW.
I barely weighed 100 pounds (at 5'2") until I was 21 years old but by time my first son was born when I was 25 I had creeped up to 150, now after 3 more children I am pushing 200 pounds. My body is not designed to hold this weight and at 35 I feel like I am 55.
It is time to change.
