Last night I found an article with things that you should avoid eating while losing weight. Some of the things included were artifical sweetners, high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, low fat muffins, oj, granola, whole wheat bread and "healthy cereal". I was just wondering if anybody has taken these things out of the diet and had success in futher weight loss.

Yes, but because there is very little nutritional value in most of those foods (not because some magazine said they will keep you fat). If you try to get good nutrition on reduced calories, you'll quickly find that there's not a lot of room in your diet for junk. There's room for limited amounts of fruit juices, but you'd be better off with the actual fruit in most cases. Some "healthy" cereals are actually fairly decent, like oatmeal or some of the Kashi products.0
