ton of work yesterday- sore, incredibly hungry today.

I did car repair for about four hours yesterday. Today, in addition to being sore, I am hungry as I've ever been in my life.

I had a HUGE lunch. I get this any time I work out a lot. Is this normal? I wasn't hungry last night immediately after working but today... I considered eating a bottle of anti-acids I have in my side drawer because I have no food on hand.

    I can see how being more physically active would make you hungrier. I think your body is trying to replenish what has been used up?

    Yeah of course it's natural. Your body needs food to repair itself after a hard workout. Make sure you get plenty of protein and water to help rebuild muscles and carbs to help recovery and refill your depleted glycogen stores.
