Has heard and read some good things about tofu. I've been told that it's used as a breakfast item, in desserts and it's great for sauces. However, when I hear the word tofu, I want to turn my nose up! Anyone eat tofu and can possibly suggest some ideas on how I can wean it into my diet?

And cue the "Soy is bad for you" song.

Seriously, tofu is a versatile food. Its made from soybeans, low in fat and high in protein. Its bland and takes on the flavors of whatever you cook with it. I eat it in moderation, and I eat organic tofu, as I dont care for frankenfood (GMOs). I like firm tofu in stirfrys and curries, and I use the soft tofu in smoothies on occasion. I wouldnt eat it everyday, because I dont think too much soy is that good for you, but in moderation its fine.
