Shoes or insoles for standing on concrete all day!

I just started a new job. It is a physically active job which I like, but I am on concrete all day. When I get home my feet are killing me. The worst pain is in my heels. Does anyone know of a good shoe that would help, or maybe some good insoles? I have been wearing my running shoes (they are the only tennis shoes I have right now). They have made a huge difference in my running, but not great for standing on concrete...lol!

Sounds like a visit to a Podiatrist is called for. They will check your walk and the way you stand. They will then provide you with orthotics (fitted insoles) to rectify any failures in your posture or gait , causing you pain. They may, alternatively identify if you suffer from Plantar Fasciitis caused by "heel spurs" or damage to the tendon running the length of the foot. (All reasons for pain in the lower limbs.

If you see a Podiatrist privately, it will cost approximately £35 per visit in the UK.
