Which Exercise is best

Hi

I have been at this for just over a week now getting on my bike mostly every night weather dependent and doing between 20 and 40 minutes, i dont have any lights on the bike so sometimes after work its getting a little dark to travel to far and i cut the exercise down to suite.

So far i have lost nothing despite keeping my calories down, i have a limit of 1960 per day and i am under that including the exercise i do on average by 300-400 cals. I am wondering if cycling is the best exercise for me to start loosing weight or on the other hand am i jumping the gun and expecting too much too quickly.

I dont want to get dishartened a few weeks in if nothing is dropping in the old weight department.

Should I change exercise drop my cals per day or just shut up and see what happens ???

    give it at least a month before you make any changes!! that being said, you dont need to just do cardio, so you can add in some strength training too.
