I bought a new scale yesterday and it shows that I weigh 2 pounds more than the old one. Do I adjust my weight loss to the new scale readings ? This is the one I will be using from now on..

I did the same last week and had to log a 7 lb increase. If you plan to use this scale from now on it's probably a good idea. Just don't get discouraged. It's not real gain.

Mine did the same thing. But a MFP friend told me to take my measurements too.
  • Measure measure measure! Your body fat % is the KEY NUMBER you need to be more concerned with. You can lose weight and still not gain lean muscle. Muscle is what helps burn the fat. Muscle is working even when you are not. Weight loss is insignificant in my life. Body fat, on the other hand, is.
