So, this morning I woke up, and ran a 5k and burnt 589 cals, I then ate a 530 cal breakfast of eggs toast and beans. Then I cycled to work and burnt 810 cals. I have since eaten a Flax bar and some almonds as my mid morning snack.

It's just gone midday and I'm on NEGATIVE calories by almost a 1000. And I still have to cycle home from work tonight. I just cannot get used to the fact that I have to eat much more in order to lose weight while I'm 230lbs! F*cking hate cals.

Rant over.

Just make sure you get lots and lots of protein. Great job with the activity! Have you always been this active or is this a lifestyle change for you?

By my calculations, at 235 lbs., he must be about 12-14 miles and almost an hour away...

    ETA: at least!

How are you calculating burn? Those numbers are high for biking unless you put in a ton of miles. Don't trust the MFP numbers too much!
