Well I'm a 25 year old women. I'm no longer in this range (yay!) but when I was, I netted between 1200-1300 and lost about a pound a week. My TDEE is pretty low though (sedentary ~1800)0

Hi...I've only been at this a week...(LOVE fitness pal) but I am doing 1200 per day. Lost 5 lbs (prob. water) but my pants are a little looser. Thinking that I need more calories as I tend to get a little lightheaded in the afternoon. I am going to go another few days at this and then maybe up it to 1500. Health before vanity!!:flowerforyou:0

I'm 168 lbs. - 19.5% BF (was 200) and my goal is 158 lbs. - 15% BF.
I'm eating just under maintenance for my goal weight, so 1900-2000.
Resistance training for at least 300 kcal/day.
Still losing slowly. Probably 1/2 pound per week loss now. I was doing 2 lbs...

I net 1200 to 1300 a day. I lose, on average, .8 lbs. per week (over the last 17 months). Some weeks I'll lose 2 to 3 lbs. and others I maintain. I'm a 37 yr old female at 5'4"0

Thanks everyone, helpful to know what works for others. I've only been on MFP for 11 days now; netting 1200-1250 per day. Let's see how it goes!0

I weigh 167lbs and have consistently lost 2-2.5lbs a week eating 1500-1800 calories a day (closer to 1800 on exercise days) with one day around 2000-2200 once a week.0

Net 1200 calories/day. My average burn from exercise is 3500 to 5000 calories/week, or 500 to 700 calories/day, so my average food consumption is 1700 to 1900 calories/day. I consistently lose 0.5-2.0 lbs/week, and my weight is 167 lb.0

1200 - 1400 if I want to lose weight at all that week.0

I weighed over 170 and I'm 5'1"
Really this question should be relative to height or RMR. Comparing what I ate at 5'1" to lose weight if you are taller is not a good idea. Of course I needed to eat less than a taller/bigger person, because I'm shorter/smaller. Life is not fair, I had to eat WAY LESS in order to lose weight.0 -
i net 2000 calories daily and lose .5 to 1 pound a week0

I eat 1300/day net and have been averaging a pound a week. I'm 5'10", started at 188 and just hit 165 this morning.
I only walk for exercise so get 150-300/day that way.0 -
