New Idea

My kids & I are trying to lose weight so I took a glass jar & placed $5 in it & encouraged each person who wanted to also be included to do the same. I also placed pieces of paper with prizes written on it in the jar. The 1st person who lose's 5 lbs. gets the loot & prizes. Seems to be working for my 11 yr. old daughter who is very over weight & doesn't get the 'just' of watching her calories or portion sizes. The only rule is EVERYTHING you eat or drink (except water) MUST be eaten at the table. No "TV" eating. Not even suckers. Sounds strict but you don't know my kids. We'll see how it goes!! :)
