Not so simple math

I got a Fitbit a couple of weeks ago and I love it. I went on a business/fun trip last Thursday-Sunday and I confess I ate and drank way more than normal. I got my Fitbit weekly report via email today and found that my calories in versus calories out gave me a 1575 calorie deficit for the week. So, I thought I would stay close to even on my weight last week but I gained 1-1/2 lbs. I promise I was honest with myself about what I ate and recorded every little thing. So, why did I gain weight? Has something like this happened to any of you?
