Pleasantly Surprised

I joined MFP because I understand the psychological impact of daily monitoring on health and fitness goals. I tried to keep a food and exercise diary in the past using excel. It worked for a while, but eventually proved to be too much of a pain. Other life events and I eventually fell back into a routine of poor diet, lack of activity and the spectar of onsetting health concerns.
So I found this site, (actually through my I-phone) and I really like the tracking features.
I just started perusing the forums and am pleasantly surprised by the community support.

Me too! I found this on an iPhone app search, and LOVE it! It makes it so much easier to track having it at my fingertips, and the community database means almost anything I'm searching for is already in the system (and I usually have the label to compare, and it's almost always right!).
...and the results I'm seeing are keeping me motivated to continue!0 -
