Hello
I signed up yesterday and I would love some friends or advice. Has any one had success with p90x?

Haven't tried p90x... Just a bit of advice from someone really big that's dropped 20% of his body weight since July... Start at a walk and build up to do more... Start off eating better counting everything and walk more... A pedometer works well... As you get into the mode of moving and exercising more then start trying to do some of the fad exercise programs if you choose. Success leads to more success. With 90 pounds to lose don't assume that a program will get you there... It could lead you to injury and potentially more weight gain. Strive to be healthier... If you are currently doing some form of exercise, maybe you are ready to step it up. If not then seriously don't kill yourself off by trying something complicated. People usually complicate things to give themselves a reason to explain their failure. Make the process simple by changing and adapting to new things that are doable for you.
  • Thank you for the advice. I never looked at it that way and that might be why I have failed a lot in the past. I always get gungho and then after a bit frazzled. I have been walking a small bit so I can def. take what you said and run with it because figuring out how to rethink food is confusing enough at this point lol. Thanks again

Hey there! I had success with p90x two years ago. I was on a consistent, healthy diet eating 5-6 small meals a day getting 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fats at 1,800-2,000 calories a day. P90x is an excellent program and I plan on starting it again, I had great results and if you do want to or do get on the program, feel free to add me as a friend for support/advice.

My wife and I attempted P90X and really liked the workouts, but the time involved proved to be too much for us. Between family and work we could not maintain an hour to two every day, six days a week. We still use some of the workouts, but we don't use the program as designed.
