Occasionally, I go to the gym with a friend and we started to do sit-ups on a decline bench with a five pound medicine ball. It's rough and difficult but it's fantastic!

For those who aren't familiar- you find a medicine ball that you're comfortable with and someone stands in front and tosses it to you while you're in the up position on the bench. You do a sit-up with it and toss it back.

I have a lot of fun with it because I get to throw a heavy ball at someone, it allows me to vent my frustration!

If you want another way to vent try throw-downs. You lie on your back on the floor. Have the partner stand with their feet right next to your head. Grab on to their ankles and pull your legs up so that your partner can "throw" them back down toward the groud. You have to work really hard to control your entire lower body from your core. Have them throw them at different angles so you work the whole core!

It's the same eccentric ab work, just in reverse (lower rather than upper abs). And, yes, it's a lot more fun to be the thrower!

Oh that sounds evil! I'll have to get my gym buddy to do that with me...she has been annoying me lately :)

    This sounds very complicated.
