So I bought these bananas and they weren't really ripening and I needed something for a snack today. I thought "Well I've eaten green bananas before... I'm not a fan... but they are supposed to digest faster or something so like maybe I'll get a weight loss benefit. Why not?"

Let's just say that I had no idea that bananas could actually be crunchy...

Doesn't this look appealing folks?

Hmm... I suppose that is a possibility. Could I cut it up in fry it?

I actually have no idea how to cook a plaintain, but I sure love to eat those tasty little boogers!

That's exactly what I thought it was, and yes you can totally cut it up and fry it... they're delicious!!!!

 hehe! Just cut them a little thick, smash them down with the flat part of your knife and throw them in some hot oil until crisp. I'm almost positive a green banana has the same texture as a plantain.

Green Bananas need to be cook before eating them. Coming from the tropics I never found green Bananas raw a good meal. However when they are cook with some Olive Oil they taste good (add salt to taste).

I prefer to eat bananas greenish but that's a tad too green even for me. I never really thought about cooking them.
