Is it just me or do some feel the same way? I can eat fruits for snacks all day and still feel hungry.

    Have you tried adding almonds?

I hear you - if I eat an apple on it's own, I get really hungy a short time later. But if I eat a slice of cheese at the same time that I eat my apple, it helps me to feel fuller.
Likewise to the first part. Not tried cheese plus apple yet...

    I was the same way.

I'm bringing my lunch and dinner to school. I had a whole carrot stick and celery stick with me and a small salad (like 2 leaves). I ate the celery with the salad (don't like celery taste much) and carrot. I also had the nutrigrain ceral bars. Combine carbs with your fruit/veggies. That actually made me feel FULL for a LONG time. I was surprised and happy at the same time. The end of the day I was under my calorie goal (1500-1600)
