199 calories for one serving. If you have a little extra room to spare, have a crescent roll or piece of bread with it. Delicious!

Hebrew National 97% fat free hot dog (45 calories) plus Shop Right Light Hot Dog Roll (80 calories) = 125 calories.

If you add toppings, be careful how much of what.

Salad with spinach, tomato, carrot, capsicum, cucmber, low fat feta (25g) OR avocada (1/5) and 70g can of light tuna. My lunch on days where I'm trying to save some calories for later

Two slices of low calorie bread (circa 50kc each), 80kc worth of lean meat (should be able to get two or three types in there), a whole load of salad (lettuce, tomato etc) and plenty of seasoning.

Or cut the bread and add even more salad and some chicken breast.

A little low calorie dressing on either to give some moisture.

It's a UK thing, but I quite like the Kershaws 'chicken dinner' ready meal.
Ok, it's 240kc; but you get a 400g meal from that with chicken, potato, peas, carrots, gravey and stuffing. Ok, it's not high quality, but I find it edible and very good considering it's way under 1kc/g and costs £1.25. Consider a side-salad to add to it.

Two medium eggs, sliced tomato, 1/4 cup cottage cheese - 207 cals, could reduce tomatoes by a slice or two.

    3 oz. Talapia
1 cup steamed veggies ( like zuchinni, carrots, broccoli or mushrooms) OR
1 cup salad with fat free ranch or raspberry vinigrett dressing
6 oz Kroger carbmaster banana cream pie yogurt
  • Black beans and salsa are great. 1/4 cup dried beans cooked and then blended with lower cal chicken broth. You could eat this with some fresh salsa and a bit of cheese.
  • Half of a whole wheat English Muffin
    Spinach
    Traditional Hummus
    Garlic
    Mozzarella Cheese

Cook the spinach in a little olive oil with garlic
    Toast the English Muffin
Put 1tbs of traditional hummus on the toasted muffin
Put the spinach/ garlic on the hummus
Put on a small amount (1/8 cup) of mozzarella cheese on the spinach
Put in oven on broil until the cheese is a little toasted

You can have a pretty big plate of stir fry, or a slightly smaller one with some rice to go with it. That's my lunch today (188 cal)
