Sugar...help?

So MFP has be on a restriction of 32 grams of sugar a day. At first I thought that was reasonable, but it seems to be counting natural sugars into the equation. Is there a difference between natural sugars and artificial sugars?
For instance, I went straight over my sugar count this morning by drinking a Naked Berry drink. While the bottle has sugar listed in the nutritional facts, the front of the bottle clearly states "natural sugars only - no sugar added." Does this mean I can't have a fruit salad in the evening because I had a cookie earlier in the day? Something doesn't seem right.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks!

There are no artificial sugars. There are artificial sweeteners, often with low or zero calories.
The MFP number and nutritional guidlines are brain dead in this area - either turn it off in http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings or put a sensible target into http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_custom0 -

Gotcha! I meant to say processed sugars. Correct me if I'm wrong (dieting is NOT my forte lol), but isn't the sugar found in fruits different than the sugar found in cakes?
Also, what would be a more reasonable sugar intake? I'm on the MFP plan for losing 2lbs/week at 232 pounds (currently down to 230).0
