How to up calorie intake in a healthy way

Hi,

I'm on my 2nd month of Insanity. I do the scheduled workout in the morning, then also add in cardio abs about 4 days a week at night. I've uped my caloric intake to around 1700-1800 per day. I know with the amount of work I'm doing, especially the days I add in cardio abs at night, I need to be eating more. The issue I'm having is I can up my calories without any trouble, but it's not healthy. I sometimes feel that when I know I'm not eating enough I eat unhealthy foods to get to my goal.

My question is, what should I be eating to get me to a higher caloric intake that is still healthy?

Use full fat dairy and cheeses. nuts, avocado, cook with oils, eggs, lean meats.
