GOLD's GYM

Ok I was trying to run long distance on their treadmills last week, but it seems like every setting I put it on only runs for one hour than slides into cooldown. Is there a way I can just run on the treadmill where it wont stop after an hour??? I find it frustrating because I'm not willing to run out in the cold yet and I need to measure how far I can go? Or does gym treadmills only go to an hour and thats it?

I think gym equipment stops at an hour because they are allowing for the other members to use the equipment too.0

My gym is the same way, if you tend to go at a slower time ask the staff if they would be able to have the treadmill run longer. If you just explain your situation they may be willing to over-ride the treadmill. When I was going to the Y they set the treadmills at 30 min. then a cool down, now that's frustrating!0
