platoeing :( inspiration needed!!

Although tomorrow is the official weigh-in I checked today and it's the same as last week. As of now, I haven't taken any measurements yet, but it doesn't feel like I've lost somewhere.
Feel really demotivated by that, since I felt I did real good last week. Stayed in my calories and didn't eat all the exercise calories back most of the time...
Feeling kind of feeverish today and thinking about calling in sick... Maybe it has something to do with that??

Could someone please check my diaries? I don't know where I went wrong :(. Thanx so much!

Vegetarian carb addict input required :-)

Sweet baby Jesus...that's less protein in a day than I eat in half of a meal. No wonder you feel like piss. O_o

I do not see much protein but loads of carbs (loads of starchy fruit and veg, not great for losing fat I have to say)...you seem to be vegetarian but not eating the right foods high in protein and healthy fats perhaps?

One week does not equal a plateau. It would be beneficial to up your protein, but it probably won't make a difference in terms of weightloss.

One week isn't a plateau. Even two weeks can't really be called a plateau, but at that point you'd be getting close to one.

Let these things take it's course...

UP the protein and down the carbs and calories!! Protein makes a huge difference in weight loss.

Thanx everybody for the replies!! I was talking about a plateau because last week was already really slow.

I was also already looking into the protein problem and decided to add some sun warrior protein. That should be in the mail either tomorrow or Friday... Hope that'll help.

As far as the starchy veggies go, I feel that they fill me up better and I stay full for a longer time, so I usually add either pumpkin or potato or something... but I'll try to change it around.

    Thanx again!

As far as plateau you could try shaking things up by adding a day of fast every 7 to 14 days. A short fast can have positive benefits and it's a good reason to veg out all day and read a book. However, the suggestions to up your protien are spot on.

ah yeah, fasting. I've had my experience, especially with short fasts and it's not working well for me. Pains, headaches, drowsiness but most importantly I puke as soon as I eat something again. So I think I'll try the protein first ;).

Thanx for the input, though :)

    No protein.

I don't quite understand. Should I take more or less according to you?

I don't see how you could possibly fit less into your diet.

You should really be getting close to a gram per lb of lean body mass. I'd use whatever powder you're getting. Can't you veggies use beans for your protein? I probably eat 8 lbs of chicken/beef/fish a week, so I can't really relate.

With the beans you get lots of carbs and cals, that didn't really work for me. But adding the protein powder seems to make a difference.

    Thanx everybody!
