Weight Measurements - Is That Before Cooking?

Im sure this gets asked a lot, BUT: the pre-weight cooking of meat and especially fish differs a lot from the cooked version. Is an ounce of either, as set out in the standard nutrition information pre-or post cooked?

Generally meats are listed as raw unless otherwise stated. Same goes for rice and pasta- generally listed as uncooked unless otherwise stated.

If you're going by the MFP database as opposed to the packaging, they usually have a cooked and raw listing for most foods. I like to include those words in my search anyway to help find the "official" entry instead of member-entered entries.
