Hey there :) My name's Stephanie, I'm 24, and I'm from NV. Like the title says, I just had a baby 2.5 months ago! I was down to my pre-pregnant weight in a month, got released for work & exercise, and then fractured my knee the next day :( So I've been inactive, and depressed so I'm eating pretty poorly. I've always been overweight, but between inactivity during pregnancy, a broken knee, and having a baby around the house, I've been feeling worse than ever. I'm 250lbs currently, looking to get down to 175 eventually. But my pre-pregnancy weight, 235, is my next goal, 200 is the one I have here on MFP. I'm looking for friends in similar situations, people who can motivate me but also hopefully commiserate my sugar and cigarette cravings!

My plan for weight loss at the moment is water, lots and lots of water. Big, high protein breakfasts to keep me full, medium sized lunches with lots of leafy greens, and small nutritionally dense dinners. I've always felt a lot better when I eat this way, but I always fall off the bandwagon. Not this time! I need to be a healthy, fit role model for my daughter! I'm going to walk with her in the stroller every day...around the block to start (ugh, gotta love starting over) and building up to as far as I can go. I'm going to do some yoga, some arm and core strength training, and then work on my lower body when my doctor allows it. Lots of fruit, carrots and peas for sugar cravings.

Anyway, I'd love to meet some friends!

    Wow this is crazy you & weigh the same & have the same eating habits to achieve our goal... Altogether we have alot in common minus the baby...
