Did you know when you drink water, it goes to all of your organs first, You heart, liver, kidneys, and so on. Then lastly it goes to your skin. Isnt' that awesome how we were created? So drink lots of water. ITs good for us and helps fill us so we don't eat so much.

  • Ann, I am a U. S. Mail Carrier and I have an acre vegetable garden and I also have a 50 foot greenhouse, where I grow lots of herbs and vegetables. I love to can all my vegetables, like salsa, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, pizza sauce, pickles, sweet potatoes, soups and much much more. I like eating healthy, Sometimes I read the labels of food and just dont. like what I read. My problem is I love Piizza, so I make my own crust and pizza sauce, because we don't have delivery here, and I eat it at least 2 times a week. I make some healthier that others. LOL Anyway, I have a treadmill and an ab lounger that I work out on. And I live in the country so I walk outdoors a lot. In the summer I get lots of excercise outside in my garden, Believe me thats excercise.
  • Is it true that drinking cold water, as opposed to room temperature, is more beneficial to your metabolism??!
  • Think I read somewhere that your body has to work harder to warm cold water up first so its better for you in some way. But warm water is metabolised faster and gets to work quicker? Its all new to me so not sure!! any help would be welcome
  • I have heard that sipping ice water all day is better for your body, but I have no idea otherwise. I think Ill google it and get back with you.
  • One website said room temp water hydrates you, cold water doesnt stay in your stomach as long. I paraphrased but that is what it said. I hate ice cold water, I always drink it right out of the dispenser on my fridge with no ice. It goes down so good for me. And I drink a lot of it. I don't drink soft drinks or anything else really, maybe a fruit juice once in a while. Oh well, just thought Id share.
