Zinc intake

I was told zinc makes feet smell good and gets rid of acne, along with a list of other benefits
So I bought zinc supplements (50mg) and was wondering how often I should be taking them? Once a day? The bottle says take with food but nothing about how often.

Hi
Can't find anything about zinc and acne or smelly feet
here is the rdi
Zinc
The DRI for zinc is 11 mg a day for males and 8 mg a day for females. Zinc is necessary for protein synthesis.

When I searched for smelly feet cures I found bicarb and rotating your shoes (different pairs, not left/right) to be a sensible sounding answer.
Most people say acne is best addressed with good vegetables.
Happy to be proven wrong.0 -

And if I can find where I read about stinky feet I will let you know. I believe the wording was "body odour" and then another site mentioned foot odour....0 -

Weird. I've been taking Zinc now for about 6 months but I never connected the fact that my feet seem to be less stinky. That's bizarre.0

And are they less stinky? or could you imagine they are now that you've read this, lol0 -
No. I really used to have a problem where sandals and my feet would stink by the end of the day. But, after this posting, I realized I'd worn my sandals several times and there had been no smell. I just didn't make the connection to taking the zinc. I had started taking multiple vitamins and zinc was one of them only because I'd read that it's hard to get and I thought it might be a good idea with me going gluten free.0
