Trying to figure out how to log the workout I get from keeping myself upright in the back of a speeding, bouncing, 'roller coaster in training' ambulance while doing pt care...any EMT's/medics out there have any ideas? :drinker:

If this is something you deal with every day at work, I'd say figure out how it factors into your base activity level, as opposed to trying to figure it out on a case by case basis. Something tells me it can vary a lot.0

I know when I'm on ambulance we have a lot of down time. Most fire depts we are contracted with so I sneak on in to the gym on our down times. If no gym is available I will do lunges, stretches, nag the crap out of my partner to help me move, anything. Anyone who may drive semi, bus, do long hauls....they would all be great people to ask how they find the time to do some moving around.0
