The most fundamental NSV

I've tried countless times to lose weight. So so so so many times. But I've always given up after trying half-heartedly for a week or so. I've never actually lost any weight, at least not more than a few pounds, nothing so substantial that I could actually notice it on me or begin to feel better in myself.
But since joining MFP I am persevering. I have no desire to binge and unhealthy food honestly doesn't appeal to me at all any longer. Clothes I haven't been able to fit into for years are fitting me again (gosh, I'm only 23, this shouldn't be an issue!). I feel brighter in myself. I didn't start this journey to be more 'attractive' because I don't consider that slimness = attractiveness but I do FEEL more attractive and I think it's because I feel healthier and less sluggish.
When I put my winter coat on for the first time this autumn, it was tight around the waist, barely fasted around the boobs and was gaping at the hips. Now it fits perfectly and we're not even into November yet!

Congrats and YAY for you! But ya the winter cloth NSV is awesome, I just recently put a sweater on that use to be very snug, and I was swimming in it0

I bought new winter clothes a matter of days before deciding I wanted to lose weight and they're too big for me around the waist now, it's such a fantastic feeling. I'm not weighing myself at all, I am going by how I feel and right now I feel pretty fantastic And I'm only a month and a half into my journey so I am really excited.0

I had to replace all my winter clothes (fundamental to surviving Canadian winter) because everything was two sizes too big for me.
Awesome, but EXPENSIVE.0 -
It's a great feeling, isn't it?! I just put on a pair of jeans today that I bought this Summer thinking they'd be great this winter and now I Discovered they are quite loose except on the waist, because they have a stretchy waistband. It's just so neat!!!0
