Have you tried oatmeal with agava nectar? I like to have that with some dried fruit but the agava nectar tastes similiar to honey to me and is supposed to have a low GI number. So it should have very little affect on your blood sugar.

What a cute baby!!!! Add veggies to your eggs. mushrooms, onions, broccoli, etc .
Eggs are great energizers and blood-sugar stabliizers. Except for vitamin C, eggs provide a perfect balance of viatmins and minerals. Limit intake to 2 per day. Hope you like eggs! Buy Organic if you can.

i LOVE a nice bowl of cheerios in the morning. 1 cup equals 100 calories, so its good for you and filling.
i also enjoy steel cut outs with a little honey, not brown sugar.

Anything that is protein will not affect your sugar. Plus it sticks with you longer to keep hunger at bay!

I like to have 1 egg on a Thomas Multigrain English Muffin. Yummy! (only 201 calories and plenty of protein and fiber to control your hunger until mid-morning snack or even lunch)
