Skinny fawt, lift or cut?

All the skinny fat fellas out there know it, its just freakin tough to cut that lame fat around the midsection. I've been doing a mix of cardio & lifting with not much results since the past 6 weeks, even with clean calories. Cardio made me skinner and lifting makes my muscles big, but without losing an inch in the waist

For the wise ones, whats the best approach to get leaner with ripped core ?

thanks!

Hard to assess without pics but to make some broad generalizations:

    1) You will want to lift heavy using mostly compound lifts and with an effort to progress over time (add weight to the bar).
    2) You will likely need to suck it up for a few months (bulk even though you feel fat or cut even though you feel scrawny), followed by multiple bulking and cutting cycles.
    3) You will want sufficient protein for LBM gains/retention.

And generally, I think it's best to not bulk or cut too aggressively.

It is my general belief that "most" skinny fat people should bulk before cutting, but I wouldn't make that a blanket statement.
