I understand most of us on here are probably a little sugar deprived and consequently a little bit grumpy, but I have been noticing a lot more criticism and complaining recently. Yes, we all have pet peeves. Yes, there are people giving bad advice. Yes, there are people who are at the beginning of their weight loss journey who haven’t figured everything out yet. Yes, people make bad decisions with food, follow trend diets, give bad fitness advice, and ask the same questions over again.

Do any of these things make it okay to be snarky and to bully? It’s easy to say whatever you want sitting behind your computer screen, but please remember that reading it from a computer screen can hurt just as much as having it said to your face.

There's nothing wrong with correcting someone's misconceptions, but there is no reason to do so condescendingly.

We should be encouraging each other in our own personal health and fitness journeys. There is nothing that gets you off track of your goals easier than feeling down on yourself, or feeling is if you have no value. When you feel good about yourself, you take better care of yourself. So I applaud everyone is on here for trying even a little bit at bettering your health. And please, be kind.
