Since my last post, I finally read chapter 10 on exercise. I did not (obviously) do the recommended level of exercise when I went through the book the first time!

I've been back on plan for a week now and have added 1 hour of exercise a day. I've got my MFP calorie counter set back to what MFP says it should be (just over 1200 calories) - so as long as I do my daily hour, my MFP calories plus exercise calories should balance at 1600. The perfect combination!

I've been a little under the weather this week, so my intensity hasn't been high, but I've gone to the gym to swim a couple of days, used the stationary bike and treadmill one day, used my new Wii Fit plus game for several days (lots of new fun games there). Right now I'm building the habit of 60 minutes a day of exercise. I'm now the same weight I was on 3/27 so I'm happy to be there as a starting point for this round.

Thanks for sharing your journey. I got the book from the library yesterday and started the jumpstart today. Why wait? So far I am liking it. Not hungry--I couldn't eat everything for breakfast. The sassy water is quite tasty and a bit filling. I don't know how I will continue after the first four days, but I guess I need to finish reading first!

debnu1 - good luck on your journey! I'd love to hear what you think! Made a fresh batch of Sassy water last night - and I'm enjoying my 400 calorie lunch right now - Stonyfield yogurt, almonds, toasted oatmeal, cinamon and blueberries! Yum!
