I'm going to do it, but only because I am sick and tired of hearing "men like some meat, something to hold onto.... blah blah blah..." Men are men, just as women are women. We all have our own personal tastes. BUT, more importantly, rather than worry with what some man wants or what supposedly ALL men want, do what YOU want!
You want to be thin? Be thin. You want to be pleasantly plump? Be pleasantly plump. You want to be fit? Be fit. Do YOU for YOU. All I ask is that no matter what you choose, that you don't put others down for their body type choice and above all, be healthy! ♥ Bry

About time it's said by a woman....
It matters not what OTHERS want, believe, or perceive.0 -
Love yourself, treat your body with respect, and be happy. These things will help you love and respect other women as well.

Love this post. I agree 100%.
I hate seeing the arguments women have on here. Different men like different things, no matter what you choose to be, you will find a man that loves it.0 -
woohoo!! well said!!0

This is the best post I've read in a while.
You are so right on all accounts. You need to be happy with yourself before anyone else will be happy with you. I think failure comes when we think that we need to lose weight or get fit for someone else. It's only going to work if we do it for ourselves, everything else good in life will come along after. Take care of yourself and do this for you!!0 -
I approve this message.0

I completely agree with you. I really hate it when a certain male constantly asks me if my boyfriend agrees with my decision to cut fat and gain muscle. I always say, "It's my body, my life, my decision." ♥♥♥0

Well, you do know skinny people get criticized too right???0

Gimme a break....About time it was said by a women, look at her picture, you think she really ever had an OVER weight problem.. She's just looking for attention!
Are you serious? Do you know her, do you have any idea how hard she works to get where she is? Why would you take something meant to build people up and post something so ugly?0 -

I'm sorry YOU feel that way. And, you're right. I never did have an OVER weight problem. I had an UNDER weight problem. I was 98 pounds at 5'5" just 4 years ago. You don't think I've suffered my fair share and then some awful insults? You don't know the first thing about me OR how hard I've worked and how far I've come. You have NO idea what I've suffered through, so please until you know me, I ask that you not judge me. This was intended for nothing more than sending a positive message, as it's on the Motivation & Support board.
I believe that people down not because they are jealous of their shape, but because they are unhappy with who THEY are and feel that putting others down may temporarily make them feel better.0 -

I was that girl.... I was told I needed to be force-fed sandwiches and/or needed to go eat a cheeseburger or that I was on drugs (never) among several other nasty, hateful, hurtful things. I was unhealthy and trying to make better life decisions. Unhealthy goes both ways...0 -
Yes girl!
I just want to be healthy, whatever those choices do to my body is fine with me.0 -
