Fruit days....

anybody ever had just a solid fruit day? watermelon, strawberries, grapes, apples, oranges, ect......

I'm test running it today to see if it benefits at all

    Yea, was experimenting a while ago just for the sake of... experimenting, trying out different things. I felt exhausted and out of energy all day. And even worse after my cardio. It's pretty much just a little bit of sugar and water... might as well not eat at all and starve. Didn't liked it. Don't see any benefits to it either. Never gonna do that again.

    I've done a few vegetarian days... Not bad... Done a few vegan days... Not too bad... Haven't tried a fruit only day and don't think I will simply because of the lack of protein in a fruit only diet.

    Yea, I have tried to be a vegetarian and vegan too. Didn't stick to it tho cos I like meat too much, hehehe. But being vegetarian and vegan isn't same as eating only fruits cos you still can get a bunch of calories and carbs for energy from grains as well as protein from eggs, milk, beans, etc. When in fruits there is only water and sugar...

    We did a fruit and protein shake 3 day "flush" once... Will never do it again. Even with the protein shakes, we still had very little energy. Good luck!!

    good point on the protein....may add a protein bar to it today also
