After the recent thread about what defines femininity and masculinity, I thought it'd be kinda fun to have a random topic going on here about what traits or interests that everyone has that are deemed stereotypically "masculine" or "feminine"

Here are some of mine,

Feminine:
Loves to go shopping (especially clothes shopping)
Prefers my hair long
Takes ages to get ready in the morning (well, according to my bf I do)
Likes to watch rom-coms.

Masculine:
Lifting some heavy weight in the gym (in RL it seems masculine, but judging by the awesome ladies on here anyway it seems normal)
Has very little interest in make up, often wear none.
Has given up on wearing high heels (they hurt too much)
Likes playing action-type video games.

I'm tired of people saying feminine this and masculine that. Especially when the feminine traits are negative and the masculine ones are positive.

    What ever happened to equality.

How is wearing heels considered negative?
And why is farting a positive?

Theres no question there are distinct lines between female and males (stereotypically) but I don't think one's more positive or negative than the other!!

Me too. I like equality :)
All in good fun though, I don't wish this topic to turn into something negative, that's not the aim.

    Masculine:
Doesn't do much in the way of housework
    Farts a lot.
Has the appetite of a stereotypical man.

I think the balance between how "girlie" I am and how "tomboyish" I am shows just how much equality means to me. I'm taking advantage of every option I have. I love that I can wear cute clothes, and use a compound mitre saw.

    Masculine:
