Your favorite healthy foods?!?!

I'm an extreme picky eater. I'm wanting to change that and the only way I know to do that is to jump right in and try new foods. I have a goal to try at least 1 new food a week.
So with that said I'm hoping to get a list together with yalls help. What are some of your favorite healthy foods? Any good recipes you would like to share would be great too.
My current food choices are chicken tenders, hamburgers, fries, mash potatoes, pizza, butter beans.
Really need to get the bad foods out and get good foods in.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I subsitute cauliflower for potatoes and rice. Or sweet potatoes for mashed potatoes. Amazing! Plus add a laughing cow cream cheese wedge in the mashed cauliflower or sweet potato. Really good and creamy but still healthier.0

Try tossing a couple of your chicken tenders onto a bed of spinach or romaine lettuce. Add cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, or any vegetables you'd like to try. Make sure to pick a light dressing and measure how much you use. You can add a large volume of food (and nutrients) to the chicken without adding many calories at all.
I feel like this may help you adjust to eating vegetables because you're not depriving yourself of foods that you already enjoy. Good luck pal!0 -
Excellent goal: Try one or two new foods each week. Just look around the produce section of your supermarket or go to a local farm stand and choose something you've never had or haven't tried for a long time. Pay attention to what you draws you. Look up on the internet and you'll find lots of ways to preapare it. Veggies are important for a lot of reasons. Fruit is nature's dessert. The less refined sugar you eat, the more fruit will taste sweet. Sub whole grains for refined ones or try something new like rice(there are many varieties) or quinoa. Experiment with different meats or fish if you like. Learn to read labels.
My favorite new healthy food is Red Swiss Chard.0
